2024 Summary
The year 2024 will be recorded in the history of the Domidar Dogs kennel as a period filled with significant successes, joyful gatherings, and moments that confirm that purposeful breeding, responsible work, and love for the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed truly have deep meaning. It was a year in which the quality of our bred dogs, the stability of our breeding program, and the strength of the friendships that cynology brings were all clearly demonstrated.
During the year we had great reason to feel proud when the exceptional female living in Poland – TOP STAFF PL, Int.Ch., Ch.PL, Ch.SK, Ch.LT, Ch.HU, Ch.UA, Mł.Ch.PL, Zw.PL EXTRA’S LEGACY Domidar Dogs, known as “BUFFY” – fulfilled the requirements for the title Polish Veteran Champion. This title is not only recognition of her long-term quality but also a symbol of her exceptional life journey and lasting value for breeding.
We began the year in a friendly spirit with a traditional gathering of our bred dogs at the CEJCH venue, where we combined training, an educational seminar focused on the breed standard, and shared moments during a walk toward Kost Castle. These moments remind us that Domidar Dogs is not just a kennel, but above all a community of people united by a shared passion. We are a family.
An important chapter of the year was also STAFFBULL CAMP 2024 in the Bohemian Paradise, the fourth edition of this cynological weekend event, which once again confirmed its exceptional significance. Great thanks once again go to the Czech-Moravian Cynological Academy, z.s., which co-organized the event.
The gathering offered a two-day show judged by respected English breed specialists Michael O’Connor (CHEZATREE kennel) and John Scanlan (PANTYCELYN kennel), as well as sporting activities in Rally Obedience, obedience and protection training, expert lectures, and a program for children. The successful completion of examinations by many participants only emphasized the high level of the entire event and once again confirmed how important comprehensive work with the dog is—not only in the show ring, but also in training and education.
Another important part of the year was the SBT breed show seminar, which we organized in May in cooperation with the Czech-Moravian Cynological Academy, z.s. The great interest of participants and their subsequent success in the show rings were the best reward for us and confirmed that sharing experience truly has value.
The show season brought a number of outstanding results, among which Waywardstaff TWEED HARRIS stood out most prominently. After more than half a year away from the show ring, he made a triumphant return at the National Dog Show in Mladá Boleslav, where in very strong competition of 98 entries he achieved Excellent 1, CAC, National Winner, and BEST OF BREED, later complemented by an excellent 5th place in BEST OF GROUP.
This success was not unique. At the International Dog Show in Olomouc, he again won BEST OF BREED, followed by BEST OF GROUP 3, confirming his exceptional quality and consistency. His year culminated with the titles Champion of the Czech Republic and Grand Champion of the Czech Republic awarded at the end of the year.
Our female OUT OF CONTROL Domidar Dogs was also very successful. During the year she repeatedly achieved the highest awards, including CAC, CACIB, and BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX at international shows in Brno and Mladá Boleslav. These results secured her the title Champion of the Czech Republic, which she achieved in this year.
Other members of our breeding program also delivered strong and consistent performances, including TROUBLE MAKER Domidar Dogs, PRETTY ANGRY Domidar Dogs, RESIDENT EVIL Domidar Dogs, MOST WANTED Domidar Dogs, and TACTICAL WEAPON Domidar Dogs, who repeatedly succeeded in strong competition and confirmed the quality of our breeding.
The end of the year also included the prestigious TRIOCACIB Prague show, where RESIDENT EVIL Domidar Dogs won CAC, CACIB, and BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX, and the Vánočka National Dog Show in Brno, where Waywardstaff TWEED HARRIS concluded the season with CAC, National Winner, and BEST OF BREED.
These exceptional results were also reflected in the annual club competition TOP STAFF 2024 organized by SBTC CZ, where Waywardstaff TWEED HARRIS achieved an excellent 3rd place, while OUT OF CONTROL Domidar Dogs placed 5th among females. Thanks to the consistent performances of our dogs, the Domidar Dogs kennel achieved an excellent 4th place among more than eighty evaluated kennels.
A great joy for us was also the external “W” litter, bred by our friends Jana and Pavel Belej, from the combination Waywardstaff TWEED HARRIS × PRETTY ANGRY Domidar Dogs. Four beautiful male puppies represent a promising future and a continuation of the bloodlines we have been working with for many years.
The year 2024 was for Domidar Dogs not only a year of titles, victories, and awards, but above all a year confirming that we are moving in the right direction. Every success of our dogs—whether in the show ring, in work, or in their everyday lives—is the greatest reward for us.
In conclusion, we would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who was part of this journey. Our gratitude belongs to all those involved in breeding, presenting, training, and caring for our dogs every day, as well as to those who, through their expertise, support, friendship, and trust, help write the story of Domidar Dogs. We deeply appreciate everyone who stands by our side, and we look forward to many more shared challenges and joys that cynology will bring in the future.
