Another show day, another strong moment for YAMATO BLADE Domidar Dogs. In Slovakia, he entered the ring at 8 months of age and from the very first moment it was clear he came to deliver his performance with complete calmness and confidence that are natural to him.

He appeared balanced, focused and naturally self-assured. Both in movement and stance he showed exactly what we expect from him – stability, willingness to work and enjoyment of presentation. In strong competition, he gradually secured all the awards and confirmed his dominance among puppies:

Black brindle, excellent head, good breed type, good ears, dark round eyes, good bite, very nice expression, well boned straight front, good feet, good rib, short coupled, good rear angulation, moved well.

We see this as further confirmation that Matty is heading in the right direction. His ring presence is consistent, natural and without any signs of uncertainty — exactly the kind of presentation that can be built on for the future.

Our sincere thanks go to the organizers for the excellent organization and the overall atmosphere of the show, which was very pleasant and friendly throughout the day. It was a pleasure to meet again with Marian Botto, Marián Trška, Miloš Tuček, Zuzana Sedláková, Petra Štócová, Roman Monček and many others, and to share time together both in and out of the ring.

We would also like to sincerely thank judge Debbie Desmond for her professional evaluation, as well as for the pleasant personal meeting and subsequent discussion together with Frank Mc Connelloque (Lonemoor UK). Moments like these carry deeper meaning and great value for us.

Thank you as well to all friends, fellow exhibitors and supporters for the energy that creates the unique atmosphere of every show. It was a day to remember not only as a success, but also as a great experience.

For the Domidar Dogs kennel, it was an exceptionally successful weekend under the supervision of very experienced judges and breeders from the country of origin of the breed.

Our little samurai once again showed that he is ready to become a true warrior in the show ring! YAMATO BLADE Domidar Dogs “Matty”, at the age of 6 months, received the following awards:

Show critique, Mr. Nigel Davies, UK (Braunstaff):
A 6-month-old dog, very well handled by his handler. Black with dark brindle and a white stripe on the chest. Shows excellent signs of development and maturity. Broad skull, very well defined stop, correct balance between skull and muzzle, correct bite, broad forechest, straight front, muscular neck flowing smoothly into a level topline, well sprung ribs, correct angulation of the hocks for his age. I would truly love to take him home with me.

“I would truly love to take him home with me.” These words carry almost magical meaning for us. Almost exactly eight years ago, judge Jamie Mace (Janastaff, UK) said the same words when awarding BEST PUPPY IN SHOW to Matty’s grandmother, Ch. IRON FIST Domidar Dogs. Some stories are not written by chance. Some are inherited in the blood.

Results of Domidar Dogs at the two-day international show in Brno:

The second day of the international DUO CACIB Brno show confirmed YAMATO BLADE Domidar Dogs’ performance from the previous day. In the puppy class he once again presented a confident and balanced performance, receiving VERY PROMISING 1, winning the class and subsequently also obtaining the title BEST PUPPY IN BREED.

We consider this result a confirmation of the work done during his show training. For us, it is important that Matty presents himself consistently, with enthusiasm to work and with the natural confidence that is essential for show presentation. With top handling he can therefore present his qualities to their fullest extent.

We would like to thank the judge for his professional, careful, and considerate evaluation of our young dog. We also thank all our friends for their help, support, and the wonderful atmosphere around the ring, which is an inseparable part of such days.

At this show our young Yamato Blade Domidar Dogs made his very first appearance in the show ring. He entered the puppy class, won the class, and subsequently received the title BEST PUPPY IN BREED, meaning the best puppy of the breed that day.

It was his first experience with a completely new environment, the noise of the exhibition hall that cannot be simulated in advance, many dogs and people, spotlights, and lighting effects in the final ring. All the more we appreciate how confidently he handled everything and how eager he was to work. We consider the result a very good start to the show season and, above all, confirmation that we have set out in the right direction.
