2021 Summary
The year 2021 was one of the most challenging years the Domidar Dogs kennel has ever experienced. The show season was heavily affected by coronavirus restrictions, which significantly limited the organization of dog shows, complicated travel, and made participation itself much more difficult. At the same time, we were facing an exceptionally demanding workload that unfortunately did not allow us to be personally present in the ring as we had been used to in previous years.
For that very reason, our sense of pride and gratitude was even stronger as we watched how wonderfully our dogs were represented by their owners. They carried the responsibility of presenting the Domidar Dogs kennel and handled it absolutely brilliantly.
During this show season, our kennel was most prominently represented by LIKE A MONSTER Domidar Dogs, “Monty,” together with his owner David Šváb. Throughout the year Monty delivered very consistent performances in the intermediate class, receiving the highest ratings at every show he attended. He repeatedly won his class and collected CAC titles at international, club, and national shows, including DUOCACIB Brno and events organized by the SBTC CZ club.
We particularly value his BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX title from the club show in Náměšť na Hané, where he triumphed in very strong competition and confirmed his outstanding qualities. The symbolic highlight of his successful season was a beautiful 2nd place in the prestigious TOP STAFF 2021 competition.
David, you have our enormous thanks for Monty’s outstanding presentation, his perfect condition, and above all for the love and care you give him every single day.
An absolutely exceptional and unforgettable moment for us came in October at the World Dog Show in Brno. Simply participating in the most prestigious dog show in the world is unforgettable, but what our dogs achieved exceeded all our expectations.
PROUD TO BE Domidar Dogs won the junior class, earning CAJC and, most importantly, the title JUNIOR WORLD WINNER 2021. IRON FIST Domidar Dogs, competing in the champion class, also won her class, received CAC, later res. CACIB, and the title VICE WORLD WINNER 2021.
Achieving such results at a World Dog Show judged by highly respected and experienced judges—who themselves are long-time breeders and breed specialists—is confirmation of the highest quality and a tremendous reward for everyone who contributed to their journey.
Our other dogs also brought us joy at the SBTC CZ Special Show, where MAD MAX Domidar Dogs achieved Excellent 2 and res. CAC in the intermediate class, PRETTY ANGRY Domidar Dogs received the promising rating Very Promising 2, and our veteran MAYA Stawka Wieksza niż Życie won the veteran class, once again confirming her quality even at a grandmotherly age.
Another great success for us was the overall 7th place of the Domidar Dogs kennel in the TOP STAFF competition, among more than 80 kennels. We consider this a tremendous recognition of our long-term breeding work and, above all, the result of our joint effort with the owners of our dogs.
However, 2021 was not only about show rings. In spring we organized the second edition of STAFFBULL CAMP under the auspices of the Czech-Moravian Cynological Academy (z.s.). It was wonderful to once again see so many enthusiastic owners and their dogs and to watch their progress. We greatly appreciate the words of recognition from breed specialist Michael Adenberg (NL – Dailo’s), who praised the quality of the participating dogs and the overall level of the event.
In autumn we followed up with a show seminar, which received an excellent response, and we are extremely pleased that many participants subsequently achieved wonderful show successes.
In conclusion, we would like to thank above all the owners of our dogs from the bottom of our hearts. Your work, everyday care, time, energy, and love that you devote to your dogs are the most important part of the entire breeding program. Without you, Domidar Dogs would not be what it is today. Thank you for presenting our dogs with pride and for giving them the best homes.
Our thanks also go to all the judges for their professional evaluations and high awards, to the show organizers for their tremendous effort in organizing events during such a difficult time, and of course to all our friends, supporters, and breed enthusiasts for their encouragement.
Special thanks for the photographs from events go to Klára Zbořilová, Hana Maredová, Nicole Pecková, the graphic studio TyhletyWeby, Jana Belejová, Vojta Filcak, and many others.
The year 2021 was demanding, but at the same time it showed us how strong the community around us is and how exceptional the dogs we have the honor to breed truly are.And for that, we are immensely grateful.
